Drake Bell Accidentally Burns ‘Original’ Lyrics For ‘Drake & Josh’ Theme Song
Drake Bell joined TikTok in February and has attracted over 1 million followers.
The co-star to Josh Peck on Nickelodeon‘s Drake & Josh uploads sporadic, comedic-type videos, attracting millions of viewers along the way.
On Thursday, the 33-year-old musician-actor shared a video that originally intended to be a ‘how-to’ guide for playing ‘Found a Way’, the official theme song to Drake & Josh. Instead, he found himself setting fire to a piece of paper that he claimed had the original lyrics written on.
You notice a coffee-coloured, crimped piece of paper with handwritten lyrics, with Bell pointing out the lyrics, should read It’s gonna take some time to realign — instead of It’s gonna take some time to realise, a common misheard lyric.
At the beginning of the video, he starts by saying, “What’s up everyone? I’m gonna teach you how to play the Drake & Josh theme song in less than a minute, but, before I do, I wanna show you this. This is really cool, check it out; I found the original lyric-sheet for Found a Way and if you notice, it says realign, not realise, it’s realign.
Man, this is so crazy that I found this, it’s going to be worth money someday. Check it out, it says… if you open up your,” — a perfectly placed candle ignites the paper in Drake’s hand before a fire alarm begins to sound as he attempts to dampen the paper out.
Check out the hilarious addition to his TikTok account.
You’ll remember, unCrazed broke the news that Drake and Josh are coming back with a reboot of the show, alongside co-stars Miranda Cosgrove, Nancy Sullivan and Jonathan Goldstein with special guest appearances from Yvette Brown and Jerry Trainor.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we are told that Nickelodeon ceased production of all shows, including Drake & Josh, however the intention for a reboot is very much a reality, but a slated date for continuation of development has yet to be decided.
unCrazed will keep you posted.
