Eurovision 2021 Draws Millions Of Viewers Worldwide

After taking a year off, the Eurovision Song Contest brought in a total of 183 million viewers.
Being the first Eurovision since 2019, organisers of the event revealed the numbers. Reaching 36 markets. On the official YouTube channel the show reached “50.6 million unique viewers” Deadline reports.
The numbers showed an increased, “4 percentage point higher TV audience share than the last Contest in 2019 of 40.5%.”
Måneskin (Italy) were crowned the champions of this years show. In Italy a recorded “4.3 million tuned in for the Grand Final.”
Executive supervisor of the contest Matin Osterdahl spoke on the numbers the show received. “We’re thrilled to see that audiences welcomed back the Eurovision Song Contest in such huge numbers” adding how they’re “very proud to have brought millions together at a time when so many are still apart,” said Osterdahl.
