Grammy Awards Announce New Date And Location




The Grammy Awards has revealed its rescheduled date and location.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was postponed having being originally on the books for January 2022.

After moving the show to Las Vegas, it will now go ahead on Sunday 3 April, just a week on from the Academy Awards.

“We are excited to take the Grammys to Las Vegas for the very first time, and to put on a world-class show,” said Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr.


“From the moment we announced the postponement of the original show date, we have been inundated with heartfelt messages of support and solidarity from the artist community.”

“We are humbled by their generosity and grateful for their unwavering commitment to the Grammy Awards and the Academy’s mission.”

Olivia Rodrigo is on track for a dominant night after her breakout year, including a head-to-head battle with the likes of Taylor Swift (Evermore), Doja Cat (Planet Her) and Lil Nas X  (Montero) for the coveted Album of the Year award.
