Hilary Duff Contracts Eye Infection Due To COVID-19 Testing

Hilary Duff has opened up about her experience of working during a global pandemic.

The 33-year-old Lizzie McGuire actress has revealed the risks those within the entertainment industry are taking in order to produce new content for viewers.

Over the holidays, Duff took a trip to the hospital after contracting an eye infection which she believes was caused by the sheer amount of COVID-19 tests she has taken over the last few months that are required for the actress to continue to work.

Writing on Instagram, she says, “Took a little trip to the emergency room … I got an eye infection from all the COVID tests at work … [because] you know, 2020 and all.”
