Jemima Kirke Will Star In Netflix’s ‘Sex Education’

Jemima Kirke, who shot to fame whilst staring incritically acclaimed series Girls will be the new head teacher in Sex Education. 

Kirke will take over from Alistair Petrie as head of Mooredale High.

Kirke will portray Hope Heddon, a former Mooredale student.

“It’s f**king hilarious and this season so far, from what I’ve seen, is really exceptional,” Kirke told Glamour, “there’s really never a dull moment. There’s no boring storyline.”The character of Hope Heddon is very different to the character of Jessa she played of Girls.

“She’s got this tough exterior, this very controlling, orderly and aggressive exterior,” Kirke said about the character.

“What Sex Education does so well with its characters is it peels back the layers of a person, you see that we’ve got their persona, and then we’ve got what’s just beneath the persona.”
