‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ Adds Shamier Anderson To Cast

Shamier Anderson is the latest star to join the cast of Lionsgate’s ‘John Wick: Chapter 4‘.

The fourth installment of the popular action franchise is set to begin production in the summer of this year. Deadline reports that locations include Germany, France and Japan.

Originally Lionsgate intended for the fourth and fifth installments to be filmed consecutively, but decided against this plan earlier in the year.

Plot details have so far been kept firmly under wraps, though Shay Hatten and Michael Finch have written the script.

Chad Stahelski – the director of the previous three films – will return for the fourth installment, alongside Keanu Reeves as the veteran protagonist, John Wick.

Rogue One star, Donnie Yen, was also recently announced as a new addition to the cast. He will reportedly play a fellow assassin and friend of John Wick.

The role of Shamier Anderson is yet unknown, as is the role of co-star Rina Sawayama.

Anderson has previously featured in titles including Stowaway, Love Jacked and City of Lies.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is reportedly hoping to release on May 27, 2022.
