Kate Bock had a near-death experience during a romantic rafting trip with NBA star Kevin Love.

The couple were rafting in Wyoming when the inflatable raft they were on threw the model overboard, causing a head injury.

Kevin came to the rescue and ensured she was removed from the rapid-water immediately and shortly after took a trip to the hospital where she had her “head stapled,” by doctors.

The rafting company are claiming this is the first head injury in 34 years, and Kate has brushed off the incident.

The NBA star uploaded the series of pictures that show the incident unfolding, jokingly saying, “Wish I had the video for you–this was a hell of a sequence. Not enough weight and the rapids will toss you,”
