Katherine Helmond From ‘Who’s The Boss?’ Has Died Aged 89

Katherine Helmond, famously known for her role on Who’s The Boss? has died aged 89.
According to her talent agency, she passed away on February 23, 2019, but no further details about the cause of her death has been provided.
She played Mona Robinson on the sitcom, which ended in 1992 after eight seasons. Katherine was nominated twice for an Emmy for her role in Who’s The Boss? and she was nominated for one TV Land Award. She took home a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in 1989.
Alyssa Milano shared her shock on Twitter by saying, “My beautiful, kind, funny, gracious, compassionate, rock. You were an instrumental part of my life. You taught me to hold my head above the marsh! You taught me to do anything for a laugh! What an example you were!”.
