LaMelo Ball Wins ESPY For Best Breakthrough Athlete
LaMelo received the ESPY for Best Breakthrough Athlete of the year becoming the sixth NBA player to win the award.
Anthony Mackie was there to host the awards.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball continued his Rookie of the Year season with another award win that was presented by rapper DaBaby.

In his award speech the Hornets player said few words, as he “forgot everything” that he prepared after the rain poured down on the night.
Ball added saying that he can “only think about my family right now. And my momma.”
