Logan Paul Formally Submits Appeal Over KSI Loss

Logan Paul has formally appealed the decision of his 2-point deduction.
The YouTube star went head to head with rapper and content creator KSI on November 9 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Paul has an issue with the 2-point deduction that was ruled against him by the referee in the 4th round — Logan knocked KSI to the ground after throwing a shot to his head — then hit him again as he was knocked down.
The official appeal filed to the California State Athletic Commission says, “The 2 point deduction was the reason I full out split decision lost the fight,” — the appeal has been received by the CSAC and they have stated “The executive director Andy Foster is evaluating. If there’s sufficient grounds, it’ll go to a hearing at a commission meeting,”
After rewatching the fight, Logan feels it’s the right move to file an official appeal — something that he initially said he wasn’t going to do. He said, “My team and I have decided to file an official appeal for the fight because we just don’t believe that the outcome was right. By no means am I afraid of losing, but I truthfully 100% believe I did not lose this fight.”
