The Canadian Screen Awards are set to hand Ramakrishnan the Radius Award, recognising her ‘global impact’ on TV audiences, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Never Have I Ever – created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher – is onto its third season, with the show based on Kaling’s childhood.
Ramakrishnan landed the role following an open casting call, beating over 15,000 other responses to the starring role.
The 20-year-old will also feature in upcoming Pixar movie, Turning Red, which hits theatres in March.
The first two seasons of Never Have I Ever are available to stream on Netflix now.
