Marvel’s ‘Captain Marvel’ Launching To $155 Million

Disney-Marvel’s Captain Marvel installment is launching to an estimated $156 million. 

On Friday, it totalled $61.4 million which in total rounds up to almost $156 million from over 4,000 North American locations.

If the estimates are to remain and be achieved, Captain Marvel will be the seventh best Marvel Cinematic Universe opening domestically.

The suspected achievement would hold the new installment behind all three Avengers films, followed by Black Panther, Iron Man 3 and Captain America: Civil War.

Stars including Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch and Jude Law are said to have drawn in the audience — on top of the fact Captain Marvel became one of the most anticipated MCU films to arrive.

Sources connected to Disney-Marvel are saying a second installment has been greenlit and now the confirmation as to whether it would be a success have been confirmed, the franchise of Captain Marvel will commence.
