Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher Reveal They Don’t Bathe Children Daily
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have shared the reason why they choose to not bathe their two children daily.
The couple are parents to 6-year-old Wyatt Isabelle and 4-year-old Dimitri Portwood.
When they appeared on an episode of The Armchair Expert they revelled that they don’t like to bathe the children in soap daily.
Co-hosts Dax Shepard and Monica Padman started the conversation by discussing how often they shower. Shepard insisted that Padman “should not be getting rid of the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day” and instead to only wash with water. To this, Kunis and Kutcher agreed
“I can’t believe I am in the minority here of washing my whole body in the shower. Who taught you to not wash?” Padman said. Kunis responded that she didn’t have hot water growing up “so I didn’t shower much anyway.”
“But when I had children, I also didn’t wash them every day,” the actress continued. “I wasn’t that parent that bathed my newborns, ever.”
Ashton also added “Now, here’s the thing: If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there’s no point.”
When it came tot talking about their own hygiene routines, they said that they refrain from using soap on their entire bodies.
“I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever,” Kutcher shared. The paid do wash their faces everyday.
“I do have a tendency to throw some water on my face after a workout to get all the salts out,” Ashton admitted.
Kunis said, “I do wash my face twice a day.”
