Naya Rivera Has Died At 33 With Her Body Recovered At Lake Piru In California

UPDATE: The body recovered is that of Naya Rivera. She was 33.

A body has been found during the search for Naya Rivera at Lake Piru in California.

The 33-year-old Glee star went missing after falling into a lake whilst boating with her four-year-old son Josey, which he describes to authorities as witnessing her go under the water but failing to resurface.

A search for the missing actress began almost immediately after a report to law enforcement was made when Josey was found, unattended and asleep, in a boat on the lake.

Sadly, Rivera has been presumed dead with the circumstances surrounding the unsettling event being unclear. Law enforcement describes the conditions of the lake as being unsafe due to strong currents and murky waters.
