Novak Djokovic Crashes Out Of Monte Carlo Masters

World number one Novak Djokovic has suffered an early exit from the Monte Carlo Masters on his return to the ATP Tour.
It was the Serbian’s first tournament since February. He lost to Davidovich Fokina 6-3 6-7 (5-7) 6-1 in the second round, with the Spaniard breaking nine of the former’s serves.
It is the first opener the tennis star has lost in four years.
“The win is so special to me because I grew up watching Nole [Djokovic] and I’m a big fan of his,” said Fokina. “I knew Nole didn’t have the confidence because he didn’t play a lot this season. I had my chances in the beginning of the match and I took them.
“When he won the second set it was tough mentally, but I work hard to be focus. I had to be prepared for war.”
The 22-year-old is readying himself for the Round of 16.
