Ottawa Senators Extend General Manager Contract

Starting his career with the NHL team in 2007 as a chief amateur scout, Pierre Dorion took over as general manager in 2016.
He has since remained the general manager has now extended his contract with Ottawa Senators signing a three-year extension. This will see his contract run through the 2024-25 season.
In a statement about the extension, the owner said that Dorion is “dedicated, detailed and maintains a sound hockey mind.”
Last season, the team failed to reach the NHL playoffs.
However, the owner has the “utmost confidence” in the team being recognised as one “consistency meriting success.”
