‘Proud Family’ Reboot Features An All Star Cast

Much loved cartoon program The Proud Family is getting a reboot with a star studded cast,“The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder”.

The voiceover cast will include stars of film, music and TV.

The list includes Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Tiffany Haddish, Chance The Rapper, Leslie Odom Jr, Normani and many more.

New recurring stars announced today include Asante Blackk as Penny’s boyfriend, Kareem.

Artist “A Boogie” Dubose as Maya’s gamer brother, Francis “KG” Leibowitz-Jenkins;

Raquel Lee Bolleau and Marcus T. Paulk will reprise their roles from the 2001 series.

Bruce W. Smith and Ralph Farquhar will executive produce The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder who served in the same capacity on the original series.

Disney+ have released a promo video which shows cast members discussing their roles.

All series of The Proud Family are currently available to stream on Disney+.

The series is set to land in 2022.
