Quentin Tarantino’s lawyer has responded to Miramax’s lawsuit against him for copyright infringement.

Miramax, filed a lawsuit against Tarantino earlier this week over his announced plans to release never-before seen content from ‘Pulp Fiction’ as NFTs.

The studio claim that Tarantino does not hold the rights to the content that he is trying to release.

Now, Tarantino’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has responded to the suit saying Miramax are “in the wrong”.

“Quentin Tarantino’s contract is clear: he has the right to sell NFTs of his hand-written script for Pulp Fiction and this ham-fisted attempt to prevent him from doing so will fail,” he said.

“Miramax’s callous decision to disclose confidential information about its filmmakers’ contracts and compensation will irreparably tarnish its reputation long after this case dismissed,” he added.
