Robert Pattinson Replaced By Taron Egerton In ‘Stars At Noon’

Kingsman star Taron Egerton, is to replace Robert Pattinson in Claire Denis’ new film, ‘Stars At Noon‘.
The Hollywood Reporter states that Pattinson was forced to exit the film due to scheduling conflicts.
Egerton is famed for starring in the Kingsman franchise and his portrayal of Elton John in Rocketman. He is due to return to the big screen later this year in Apple TV’s ‘Tetris‘.
‘Stars At Noon‘ is an adaptation of Denis Johnson’s 1986 book by the same name. The story is set in Nicaragua and follows an employee of a shady British oil company (played by Taron Egerton). He becomes entangled with a struggling female reporter (Margaret Qualley), whom he meets in the bar of a faded luxury hotel.
Production for the new film is yet to begin, however a 2022 release date is planned.
