Ruby Rose Undergoes Emergency Surgery After Stunt Injury
Ruby Rose underwent emergency surgery after a serious injury left her close to being paralyzed.
The Orange is the New Black star released a video that detailed her experience — including the actual procedure.
In her defence, she explained why she documented the entire surgical procedure, saying, “To anyone asking why I let them video it. Did you not watch that Grey’s Anatomy episode where they left a towel in a patient?”
She went on to say, “Also I wanted to see what happens when we go under.” The actress herniated two discs while she performed stunts a couple of months ago; with the injury almost severing her spinal cord.

Rose is set to debut as Batwoman with the premiere on October 6, 2019, for The CW series.
