Ryan Reynolds Pays Tribute To John Candy 25 Years After His Death

Ryan Reynolds has paid tribute to fellow Canadian actor, John Candy, 25 years after his death.
The beloved comedian actor, John, passed away on March 4, 1994, after he suffered a heart attack while working on the film Wagons East in Durango, Mexico aged 43.
In a montage video that Ryan shared on Twitter, he said, “It’s the 25th anniversary of John Candy’s passing. We cooked up a small tribute to a comedic genius and Canadian hero. If you haven’t seen much of his work, take a look at his films. He was a treasure.”
In Deadpool 2, Ryan’s character Wade Wilson can be seen reading The Canadian Mounted, which is also read by John in Planes, Trains & Automobiles.
