In the defending NFL Super Bowl champions opening game, Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Dallas Cowboys in the final seconds of the game.

The game saw a return for Dak Prescott for the Cowboys with the returning quarterback getting three touchdowns. Speaking on his return he said “I feel like I’m a better player than I was when I left the field” with this being his first game in eleven months.

Although the returning Prescott got three touchdowns, the Buccaneers pair of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski earned their hundredth touchdown as a pair. This being the first time a quarterback and tight end have achieved this.

Tampa began their season with a win as the team got a touchdown in the final seconds of the game winning the game 31-29.
