‘The Green Knight’ Release Date Delayed Due To Covid

The release date of A24’s ‘The Green Knight‘ has been pushed back from July 30 to August 6 in the UK.

According to Variety the last-minute change comes amid rising Covid cases in the UK. The film is still due to release in the US on July 30.

Directed by David Lowery, The Green Knight is based on the Arthurian tale of Gawain – a knight of King Arthur who embarks on a quest to battle the Green Knight. Dev Patel stars opposite Sean Harris, Ralph Ineson, Alicia Vikander, Erin Kellyman, Barry Keoghan and Joel Edgerton.
