Tilda Swinton And George Mackay To Sing In New Musical ‘The End’

Tilda Swinton, George Mackay and Stephen Graham have joined the cast of new musical, The End.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new musical follows the last family of humans on Earth.
The End is a Neon production, which will be directed and produced by Joshua Oppenheimer. Signe Byrge Sørensen will also produce for Final Cut for Real, while Atlantic Pictures and Match Factory Productions are also producing.
Golden Globe winner Swinton, is best known for her work in the likes of Michael Clayton, The Deep End, Young Adam and We Need To Talk About Kevin.
Her most recent performances were in Wes Anderson’s latest feature The French Dispatch and Jessica Holland’s Memoria. She is currently working on Disney’s live-action Pinocchio, George Miller’s fantasy romance Three Thousand Years of Longing, and Wes Anderson’s next untitled project.
Mackay began his acting career in 2003’s Peter Pan, before later securing starring roles in ‘Private Peaceful and How I Live Now. His other notable roles include 1917 and Marrowbone. Most recently he has featured alongside Lily-Rose Depp in Wolf, and will appear in the upcoming Netflix film I Came By.
Graham has featured in several acclaimed TV shows, including HBO’s Boardwalk Empire.
The 48-year-old’s latest on-screen appearance was in Venom: Let There Be Carnage and the new mini-series The North Water. He is currently working on the sixth season of Peaky Blinders.
Production on The End will reportedly begin in 2022. Further details on the project are unknown.
