Trey Songz Accused Of Rape In $20 Million Lawsuit

Warning: Potentially triggering details.
Trey Songz has been accused of rape in a new $20 million lawsuit filed by the alleged victim.
According to TMZ, the allegations made by the unidentified woman – known as Jane Doe – relate to a house party on March 24, 2016.
The woman claims that her consensual sexual relationship with Songz quickly turned into a non-consensual encounter, describing him as a “savage rapist”.
Claiming she had initially joined Songz willing to the upper floors of the LA property, Doe alleges that this changed after she repeatedly turned down his requests for anal sex.
The suit continues to describe a brutal sexual assault in which Songz is alleged to have ripped the woman’s pants off and pinned her down in order to have forcible anal sex with her.
Stating that she was “overpowered” despite screaming for help and one individual walking into the room, Doe says that she fled the property as soon as the assault was over, leaving behind her underwear.
An Uber driver reportedly rerouted to the hospital after noticing the woman’s distress, where a sexual assault exam was performed and police were called. The exam allegedly identified “severe anal tearing that could require surgery”.
“Fearing for her life”, Doe refused to provide Songz’s name to the police.
Songz and his legal team have adamantly denied the allegations made in the lawsuit and accuse the woman’s lawyer, Ariel Micthell, of witness tampering
“Earlier today, the attorney who drafted this suit was credibly accused of trying to pay a woman to falsely accuse Trey. Hours later, the same attorney has filed this suit on behalf of an anonymous client,” said a statement from Songz’s legal team.
“It’s not hard to see what’s happening here, and it is a shame for genuine victims of sexual assault.”
