Vogue Premiers The Year Of Our Lorde
Lorde, real name Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor will be on the cover of the October 2021 edition of Vogue.
Rob Haskell, regular contributor to Vogue will do the interview. The photography and styling will be done by Thero De Gueltzl and Camilla Nickerson.
The summary of the interview reads “she opens up about her blissed-out comeback album, Solar Power—a celebration of the natural word, a meditation on the hazards of a plugged-in existence, and an update on her life since our last glimpse of it.”
The Vogue Instagram account has dedicated a full row of posts to the Solar Power singer.
“I’m a highly sensitive person.” Lorde is quoted saying.
“I’m not built for pop star life. To have a public-facing existence is something I find really intense and is something I’m not good at.”
Lorde’s cover of fellow pop-sensation Britney Spears‘ Break The Ice has been debuted on Vouge’s Instagram as part of the interview
The video is filmed at New York Botanical Garden. the same place her 72 Questions video was filmed.
