Chris Pratt To Voice ‘Garfield’ In Upcoming Animated Film

Actor Chris Pratt has been cast as the voice of Garfield in Sony’s upcoming animated adaptation of the hit comic.
The 42-year-old actor will voice Garfield the cat, in a new animated adaptation of Jim Davis’s original comic, that is being produced by Alcon Entertainment.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be written by Finding Nemo screenwriter David Reynolds and directed by Chicken Little director Mark Dindal.
No release date has been announced yet for the film, but it will be available in cinemas globally except China.
This isn’t going to be Pratt’s first voiceover work. It was announced in September that Pratt will voice Mario in a forthcoming animated film based on the Super Mario Bros. franchise. Read more about this story here.
