Christian Eriksen To Be Fitted With Heart Starter Device
After suffering a cardiac arrest during Denmark’s opening game in the Euro 2020 tournament, the player is to fitted with heart-starting device, Skysports reports.
Christian Eriksen received CPR treatment on the pitch and was taken to hospital. Since receiving the treatment the player has been stable and sent thank you messages to fans. Read more here.
His doctor has stated the following, “After Christian has been through different heart examinations it has been decided that he should have an ICD” Morten Boesen said.
It has also been reported that Eriksen has agreed to have the device fitted. ICD stands for Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator.
