Daniel Craig Says He Doesn’t Think A Woman Should Play James Bond

Daniel Craig has said that he doesn’t believe that James Bond should be played by a woman. 

After much debate surrounding the recasting of the iconic role, fans have campaigned for a woman to take over the role.

Craig will make his last appearance as 007 in No Time To Die.

In an interview with Radio Times, the actor gave his opinion on the matter and appears not to be amongst those who want to see a woman as Bond.

Instead, he wants to women to have their own iconic roles and that “there should simply be better parts for women and actors of colour.”

“There should simply be better parts for women and actors of colour. Why should a woman play James Bond when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman?”
