Donald Trump Shuts Down Blog After Only One Month

The 45th presidents blog ‘From the Desk of Donald J. Trump‘ has been short-lived after it had been launched.

Donald Trump, launched his blog after having a social media ban put against him in January this year. Jason Miller, one of Trump’s adviser, confirmed with CNBC that the blog “will not be returning”.

Miller also says that the blog was only meant to be temporary. “I do think that we’re going to see President Trump returning to social media in probably two or three months here, with his own platform”, Miller told Fox News.

“It was just auxiliary to the broader efforts we have and are working on”, Miller says in email.

A form now appears on the website which allows readers to sign up for updates and alerts from the former president.
