Elon Musk Becomes Richest Person In The World Overtaking ‘Amazon’ Boss Jeff Bezos With Net Worth Of $190 Billion

Elon Musk has surpassed Jeff Bezos as the richest person in the world.

The 49-year-old Space X and Tesla owner now holds a net worth of over $180 billion.

As it stands, Musk is now worth $185 billion, whereas Bezos is worth around $184 billion – and has been the richest person since 2017, until now.

CNBC reports that Elon’s “wealth surge over the past year marks the fastest rise to the top of the rich list in history – and marks a dramatic financial turnaround for the famed entrepreneur,”

Upon reading a tweet on social media, Musk responded to a user that commented on his new rich-status saying, “How strange … Well, back to work,”
