‘Harry Potter’ Star Emma Watson ‘Slightly Fascinated’ By ‘Kink Culture’ & Finds ‘Same-Sex Couples’ Have The ‘Healthiest’ Relationships

Emma Watson has gone on the record with Valerie Hudson for Teen Vogue.
The 29-year-old actress who starred in the Harry Potter franchise spoke to Hudson about the #MeToo movement, feminism, marriage and same-sex couples.
She explained, “A lot of the healthiest relationships I’ve seen have been between same-sex couples because, I think, they have to sit down and agree [on] things. They agree [on] things between them as opposed to [accepting] certain sets of assumptions and expectations that are made.
I’ve also kind of become slightly fascinated by kink culture because they are the best communicators ever. They know all about consent. They [smash that] stuff because they really have to get it – but we could all use those models; they’re actually really helpful models.”

At the beginning of last month, when life for some of us hadn’t yet completely shifted, I was honoured to have spoken with Dr. Valerie Hudson about her book, Sex and World Peace. We spoke about what inspired her to write her book and the realisation that how we’ve treated women is actually the template for how we’ve treated our Earth. Swipe to read the full piece. ? ✌? During an interview with ET last year, Rupert Grint spoke about chemistry on the set of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter, saying there “was always something … a little bit of a spark,” between Watson and her co-star Tom Felton. He summarised by saying, “But we were kids. It was like any kind of playground romance. I didn’t have any sparks. I was spark-free.”
Rumours were sparked about the pair in late 2019 after Felton and Emma were playing the guitar on Instagram together.
