HBO Max Renew Rose Matafeo’s ‘Starstruck’ For Second Season

Rose Matafeo created, wrote and was an executive producer for the show, while Alice Snedden and Nic Sampson also co-wrote for the new series of Starstruck.

HBO Max Senior Vice President Jeniffer Kim announced the news. “Working with Rose and the team at Avalon has been amazing” adding, “so we had to keep it going.” Deadline report.

Matafeo shared her excitement for the announcement saying, “I’m thrilled that Starstruck will be returning for a second series in the US on HBO Max.” 

The show which follows Rose’s character Jessie in East London, who becomes, “romantically involved with famous film star Tom” played by Nikesh Patel.
