Jennette McCurdy Dismisses ‘iCarly’ Revival News & Instead Talks About New Project
Jennette McCurdy has promoted her podcast on social media just hours after the iCarly reboot was announced.
The 28-year-old actress who starred in the original iCarly alongside Miranda Cosgrove hasn’t been named in the Paramount+ reboot.
McCurdy went on social media to address her new project, Empty Inside, which is her podcast that recently went to number one on Apple Podcasts, and she has revealed it will be entering into a second season.
She wrote on social media, “Also a few big thank yous to everyone who helped out with season 2 of Empty Inside, you guys are amazing!” as she tagged three people in the post. Jennette went on to say, “And an extra special thank you to all the empty Empty Inside listeners! Season 2 coming soon,”
Whether the OG actress will be returning for a reboot with Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor is yet to be confirmed – until then, you can watch reruns of the show at Nickelodeon.
