Kristin Cavallari has allegedly fired a member of her social media team after an “insensitive” 9/11 post.

The Hills star had posted a picture on Instagram that shows Kristin wearing a black outfit on a New York high street. In the caption, it reads, “NYC for 24hrs. And what a time to be here..always remember.”

Commenters were insulted by the “lack of respect,” the model has towards the 9/11 terror attack. One person wrote, “Let me show off my body and then make a half ass remark about 911. WTF,”

Another said, “Big fan of both you and your product, even visited your store when I was in Nashville this past year. But wrong photo with your message … A low cut black dress with a smile wouldn’t be your look for today. Maybe throw on jeans and a t shirt and go visit one of those fire stations. Pay your respects.”

Since the post went public, Kristin has reportedly fired a member of her social media team without notice. The caption has now changed to “NYC for 24hrs.” without the addition “And what a time to be here..always remember.”
