Mia Khalifa Had Breast Surgery After Hockey Puck Injury

Mia Khalifa has been under the knife after a hockey puck hit her breast which deflated one of her implants. 

The model and social media influencer was supporting the Washington Capitals when she was struck by the puck as it flew into the crowd.

This took place on May 18, 2018, when at the time she said, “I got hit in the boob with a puck during the game, and I’m 80% sure it ruptured an implant. But the good news is, I got a game-used puck from a Capitals Stanley Cup playoff game. Worth it.” — silver lining.

The 26-year-old made the decision to have reconstructive surgery performed by Dr. Jay Calvert.

According to Dr. Calvert, she implant may have saved her life as the puck was travelling around 80 miles per hour.

Mia shared a video that followed the procedure, and explained, “You can say anything you want about me and my decision, but one thing that no one can argue is my transparency on social media. I don’t hide behind filters or make things out to be better than they are,”

She recently became engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Robert Sandberg.
