Nike Postpones Release Of Travis Scott Air Max 1 Collaboration
Nike has halted the release of it’s collaboration with Travis Scottfollowing Astroworld tragedy.
The company has postponed the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack shoe partnership with the rapper.
Scott‘s collaboration was due to drop December 16 via the Nike SNKRS app.
“Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack,” Nike announced today in statement posted within the SNKRS app.
It remains unclear when the sneakers will be released.
A total of ten lives have been claimed following the crowd surge which left many others injuries.
A number of lawsuits have also reportedly been filed by Astroworld attendees against Travis and music promoter Live Nation.
