Sid Haig ‘House Of 1000 Corpses’ Dead At 80

Sid Haig has died aged 80, his wife Suzie has announced. 

The actor, best known as Captain Spaulding in the House of 1000 Corpses trilogy, was recently hospitalised after he suffered an accident in his home.

His wife wrote, “On Saturday, September 21, 2019, my light, my heart, my true love, my King, the other half of my soul, Sidney, passed from this realm on to the next.

He has returned to the Universe, a shining star in her heavens. He was my angel, my husband, my best friend and always will be. He adored his family, his friends and his fans. This cames as a shock to all of us. We, as a family, are asking that our privacy and time to mourn be respected.”

Sid starred in multiple horror films including Bone Tomahawk, Devil in My Ride, The Lords of Salem and Night of the Living Dead 3D. He starred in TV shows such as Jason of Star Command, MacGyver, Mission: Impossible, Star Trek, The Six Million Dollar Man and many other acting roles.

He’s survived by his wife, Suzie.
