Taylor Swift’s ‘Evermore’ Reclaims Number One

Taylor Swift’s ninth studio album, Evermore, has hit the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s top 200 chart for the fourth time.
‘Evermore‘ was released in December 2020 and last enjoyed the top spot in January of this year.
The jump to first place is sudden, climbing from 74 to 1 in a week.
The last such climb occurred in 2008, when ‘In Rainbows‘ by Radiohead climbed from 156 to 1.
Collectively, Taylor Swift has now enjoyed 53 weeks at number one on Billboard 200, across all of her albums.
The Beatles hold the record, having enjoyed 132 total weeks at number one.
Additionally, Evermore’s 102,000 vinyl sales breaks the record for the number of vinyl copies sold.
The record was previously held by Jack White’s album, Lazaretto, released in June 2014.
