‘Bones’ Actor Heath Freeman’s Cause Of Death Revealed

A Travis County medical examiner has ruled that Bones actor Heath Freeman died from an accidental overdose. 

Freeman was found dead in his home in Austin, Texas, last November at the age of 41. You can read more about this here.

According to a report from the Travis County medical examiner, the actor had died from a lethal combination of alcohol and drugs in his system, including fentanyl, cocaine, hydrocodone, oxycodone and alprazolam, as reported by TMZ.

The report also states after being found unresponsive in his bed, Freeman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police later discovered pills of oxycodone and alprazolam, which is commonly known as Xanax, inside the actors home.

Freeman was best known for portraying serial killer Howards Epps in Bones between 2005-2007. He also did guest stints on ER, NCIS, The Closer and Without a Trace.
