Chrissy Teigen And John Legend’s ‘Squid Game’ Party Angers Fans
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend threw a Squid Game themed party over the weekend.
The model transformed her home to replicate the set of the South Korean show which follows characters in extreme financial debt risking their lives in a series of dangerous games.
Some party structures included a maze staircase, bunk beds and large piggy banks stuffed with cash.
She uploaded a series on images to Instagram.

“Where do I even begin!! what an absolutely epic night. my dream came true of watching my friends fight to the death,” she captions the post.
Celebrities attended the party but some fans were not so impressed. “Why do rich people always miss the whole entire point?” one user comment reads.
“I’m sorry rich people are literally so tone-deaf,” another user commented.
“‘Squid Game’ was literally about people whose lives were so awful because of being poor that they’d rather play a game of literal life or death to escape going back to poverty and Chrissy Teigen is really reenacting it in her mansion.”
The cookbook author has been central to a number of controversies and fell victim to ‘cancel culture’.
