Elon Musk Promises ‘Tesla’ Ventilator Masks If Shortage Occurs Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Elon Musk, the billionaire founder of the economic vehicle company Tesla, has announced if a shortage of ventilator masks were to happen, Tesla would step in.
The 48-year-old has been called upon by the many due to his influential status and financial backing, some even writing to him begging for money to be sent to their bank accounts due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
In response to a potential shortage of ventilator masks for those working with or those that are infected by the virus, Musk and his company would step in and mass produce as many as were required to facilitate the shortages.
Replying to commenters on Twitter that were demanding he stepped up and committed to supporting those in need during a time of crisis; he wrote, “We will make ventilators if there is a shortage.” — after calling a user called him an “idiot” for lack of action on producing more ventilators.
One user said, “There’s a shortage now, how many ventilators you making [Elon Musk]” to which the SpaceX founder said, “Tesla makes cars with sophisticated hvac systems. SpaceX makes spacecraft with life support systems. Ventilators are not difficult, but cannot be produced instantly. Which hospitals have these shortages you speak of right now?
Musk’s view on the situation is more simple than complicated, his belief is the panic could be causing more harm than coronavirus in general.
Exactly. My guess is that the panic will cause more harm than the virus, if that hasn’t happened already.
