Ian Somerhalder An Insight Into His Successful Marriage To Nikki Reed
Ian Somerhalder is sharing some knowledge on holding down a successful marriage with Nikki Reed.
The 42-year-old The Vampire Diaries actor was interviewed by Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy where he gave listeners an insight into his relationship.
Cohen asked, “What do you think is the key to keeping your relationship good?” with Somerhalder saying, “Communication, taking time for yourself, for yourselves together… She’s the first one that says, ‘go, go on a bike ride, go socially distance walk with your buddies, go have a bourbon at the bar’ you know, like just go.”
Andy then poked a little deeper by asking what they fight about, with Ian explaining, “We don’t really fight.” with the Real Housewives host wanting to know what they bicker about, to which Somerhalder said, “Well, I’m a torando. I literally live, and I’ve learned this now as a parent. Cause I, you know, being a parent forces you to reckon with al of the things that, who you are really comes out, not just in a marriage, but when you become a parent and I am a torando.”
Rumours about a ninth season of The Vampire Diaries are circulating, and Ian addressed it by saying, “I have not heard anything about a season nine. I mean, what would, you know, like what would happen Stefan and Damon are, you know, Damon has like grey hair and they’re, they have canes like, ‘Oh, I got, gotta feed the baby.’ You know what I mean? No, listen, it ran it, it ran a great course. And now it’s still living. That’s what’s so amazing. It’s still living.”
