Jane Fonda Claims She’s “Done With Plastic Surgery” And Turns Her Attention To Climate Change
Jane Fonda is said to be done with plastic surgery and changing her body.
The 82-year-old Hollywood star isn’t shy about sharing the fact that she has “gone under the knife” and has talked openly on her battle with bulimia.
She told Elle Canada, “I can’t pretend that I’m not vain, but there isn’t going to be any more plastic surgery – I’m not going to cut myself up anymore,”
Fonda became bulimic as a teen and then struggled with the eating disorder for decades afterwards, she admitted, “I have to work every day to be self-accepting; it doesn’t come easy to me”
Jane who recently wore the same dress to the 2020 Oscars as six years ago says that she now enjoys poking fun of herself. Which she proves by sharing a photo of herself missing a tooth on her Instagram.
The actress has also recently turned her attention to climate change claiming she is going to stop shopping.
“You see this coat?” Fonda asked the crowd last Friday while protesting Capital Hill pointing out the red jacket she has been arrested in four times. “I needed something red and I went out and found this coat on sale. This is the last article of clothing that I will ever buy”
Fonda told Elle “I grew up at a time when the thinking was that women were like cats, competing with each other, knocking each other down…But, in fact, there is no limit to what we can accomplish if we work together.”
