Tokyo Olympics Could Still Be Cancelled Last Minute

As COVID-19 cases rise amongst the athletes, the Tokyo Olympics still in doubt with the chief of the organising committee, Toshiro Muto not ruling out cancelling the event.

Along with the growth in positive cases, sponsors have also made the decision to not attend the games opening ceremony. 

Speaking about the ongoing situation Muto said that discussions will take place, “if there is a spike in cases,” with five-party talks set to convene.
