James Corden Granted Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker
James Corden has been granted a restraining order against a woman who has allegedly been harassing his family for months.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Corden’s legal team laid out some of the harassment experienced by the host and his family.
The 30-year-old woman has allegedly shown up at the family residence on numerous occasions, openly fantasising about marrying Corden. One incident described in the filing alleges she once camped outside the Corden home for 6 days; only leaving after the police were called.
Corden goes on to express concern that the woman’s obsessive behaviour and harassment is escalating. The 43-year-old stated that she had, on at least one occasion, shown up on the set of ‘The Late Late Show‘ to apparently marry him. He also says she has expressed a desire to take Corden’s wife “out of the picture”.
The temporary restraining order instructs the woman to cease all attempts at contacting Corden and to stay a minimum of 100 yards away from him and his family.
Corden has been married to Julia Carey since 2012. The couple share three children together: Max, Carey and Charlotte.
