‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ Co-Stars Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff Discuss Battle With Suspected Coronavirus
Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff were on a video call on Wednesday discussing Jeff’s suspected coronavirus battle.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-stars were mostly discussing Smith’s new Will From Home Snapchat series, but the conversation shifted to Jazzy taking ill when returning home from a trip.
The 55-year-old actor-producer and DJ explained to Will, “I came home from my trip. I was like, ‘I feel like I’m coming down with something’ and got into bed, and I don’t remember the next 10 days. I had a temperature that reached 103. I had the chills. I lose sense of smell. I lose sense of taste.
They [medical professionals] gave me a flu test. And when I went and got the chest X-ray, she came in and said, ‘You have pneumonia in both your lungs’ — Unfortunately, people think we’re at the end [of the pandemic], and I think we’re really at the beginning,”
