Armie Hammer Not Likely To Face Charges In Rape Case
Armie Hammer‘s case has been sent to the D.A.
The actor’s case is now in the hands of L.A County District Attorney’s Office.
TMZ report that “the case isn’t strong, and will probably not result in any charges being filed” against Armie.
“It’s unclear if the reason behind that is a lack of credibility of potential witnesses or a lack of particular evidence backing up the claims.”
Hammer had been tangled in a string of controversies including raping a woman named Effie in 2017 – who filed the police report.
Effie‘s allegations came amid a number of other sexual accusations against the star, as well as reports of extensive drug use and cannibalism. You can read more about this here.
He has denied all counts, and has said all sexual encounters were consensual.
The D.A’s final verdict is awaited.
