John Kransinski’s ‘A Quiet Place Part II’ Becomes Huge Box Office Hit

After lengthy delays, the movie A Quiet Place Part II, directed by John Krasinski, was released and smashed box offices despite the pandemic limitations.
Upon public release, the movie has raked in at least $48million.
This intake took place between May 28 to May 30 alone.
Back in March 2020, the movie was estimated to make around $55m, according to Variety,
The horror/thriller will most likely exceed initial projections.
David A. Gross, who runs the movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research, claims the movie didn’t only over-perform during a pandemic, it over-performed as a horror sequel in general.
“This movie is going to make a lot of money and bring enormous value to streaming.”
Similarly, Imax CEO Rich Gelfod claims these events offer “undeniable proof that the domestic box office is back”.
